WHEREAS: seniors in the Village of Girouxville have contributed greatly to the growth, strength, and vitality of our community; and

WHEREAS: it is important to recognize and celebrate the achievements, wisdom, and ongoing contributions of older adults; and

WHEREAS: Seniors’ Week provides an opportunity for all residents to express appreciation and gratitude to seniors for their lasting impact;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

The Village of Girouxville hereby proclaims June 1 to June 5, 2026 as Seniors’ Week in the Village of Girouxville, and encourages all residents to recognize and celebrate the valuable role seniors play in our community.
