NOTICE TO RESIDENTS – Sewer Line Flushing

Please be advised that sewer line flushing will be occurring throughout the Village of Girouxville beginning Friday, October 2 – 11th.

During this process, residents may notice temporary sewer odours in their homes or businesses. These odours are normal and should dissipate shortly after the flushing is completed.

We recommend ensuring that water is present in all floor drains and infrequently used plumbing fixtures, as this can help prevent sewer gases from entering your building.

The Village appreciates your patience and cooperation while this important maintenance work is carried out.
