NOTICE OF PREPARATION OF 2025 COMBINED ASSESSMENT & TAX NOTICES IN THE VILLAGE OF GIROUXVILLE, PROVINCE OF ALBERTA

Notice is hereby given that the assessment roll of the Village of Girouxville, made under provisions of the Municipal Government Act has been prepared and is open to inspection at the Municipal Administration Office in Girouxville during business hours.

Combined Assessment/Tax notices were mailed May 29, 2025.  All assessed persons are deemed to have received their assessments and tax notices 7 days after being sent.

Any person who desires to object to the entry of his/her name or that of any other person upon the said roll or the assessed value placed upon any property must lodge their complaint(s) in writing, by August 5, 2025 on the approved form available at the Village Office or online on the Village of Girouxville and Municipal Government websites.

Complaint forms must be completed and accompanied with the following appeal fees no later than August 5, 2025, before 4:00 p.m. Complaint form : http://www.municipalaffairs.alberta.ca/documents/as/LGS1402.pdf

  Appeal Fees:

  Single Family Residential and Farmland $50.00 per roll account.

  Multi-Family Residential (more than 4 units) $350.00 per roll account.

  Non-Residential (Commercial/Industrial) $350.00 per roll account.
