Bylaw No. 155 – Bylaw for the Purpose of Prohibiting the Keeping of Domestic Animals and Poultry in the Village of Girouxville

– Section 1. states that the keeping of cattle, horses, hogs or poultry by any person within the boundaries of the Village of Girouxville is prohibited.

Bylaw No.05-03 – Bylaw for the Purpose of Restraining and Regulating Dogs in the Village of Girouxville

– Section 5. states that the keeping of dogs in numbers greater than two (2), shall be considered operating a kennel. In such cases, the provisions of the current Land use Bylaw shall apply. Kennels are not listed as permitted or discretionary uses under the Village of Girouxville Land Use Bylaw No.19-10 and are therefore prohibited.

Anyone found in contravention of any bylaw shall be subject to fines and shall be requested to remove animals.
