Village of Girouxville Special Council Meeting

Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, please be advised the Village of Girouxville will hold a Special Council Meeting to be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at the Village Administration Office Conference Room @ 4804-50th Street @ 7:00 p.m.

At this meeting a public hearing will be held in regards to Bylaw No. 25-02 – Advertising/Public Notification to modernize how we communicate important notices with our residents. The proposed bylaw would give the Village flexibility to use both traditional methods (like newspaper and mail) and modern communication tools (such as our website, social media) to share information. By adopting this bylaw, the Village of Girouxville will gain greater flexibility in how it informs residents while maintaining transparency and compliance with legislative requirements. You can provide feedback by attending the Public Hearing as well as contact the Village Office in advance if you would like to submit written comments or have questions about the bylaw.
